GWC

EditTino Girls Who Code (GWC) invites YOU to join! Whether you want to learn how to code, improve your skills, explore different parts of the STEM world, or just want to make friends, we have a place for you. GWC is a supportive community of learners on a mission to help close the gender gap in tech.
We fosters our members' interest in developing tech-related projects into a reality. We host guest speaker events and workshops every month based on our members' personal projects to enhance their experience. Additionally, here at GWC, we emphasize the importance of having a strong community of young individuals and promote collaboration. In past years, we have gone over HTML, Python, Java, CSS, Javascript, using Git/GitHub, joining Hackathons, merging hardware with software using micro:bit, and many more languages/concepts. (Requests to learn certain concepts are also taken).
Note: No coding experience is required– we accommodate all coding levels! If any of this interests you, join by emailing tinogirlswhocode@gmail.com or joining our weekly meetings on Thursdays at lunch in Mr.McLeod's room (Room 314).
We welcome everyone who wants to join!
