Aviation and Rocketry Club

Aviation and Rocketry provides students with hands on engineering experience, a grounding in the physics of flight, and an inside look at the fields of rocketry and aerospace engineering! All club members will have the chance to participate in engineering projects, from pre-planned planes to designing and building their own RC airframes. We participate in the The American Rocketry Challenge every year, fielding a team of our 10 most dedicated students to create a rockets in the hopes of qualifying for National Finals. In addition to the technical skills and engineering experience the club facilitates, we bring in guest speakers, from current aerospace engineering students to industry professionals. We welcome all students regardless of experience, so if you want to learn more about aerospace engineering, gain technical experience, or just build cool things join us!
