Music Production

Have you ever started humming to yourself and thought, “huh, this sounds pretty cool, I wish I could turn this into an actual song”? If so, Music Production is the club for you. By creating an inclusive, no experience necessary community for you music lovers who want to use their creativity to express themselves through notes and chords, we harness the power of music as a way for our members to be like the artists they listen to on Spotify everyday. We do this by teaching our members, from the ground up, FL Studio (Fruity Loops), a free production software that allows students to create melodies, drums, and everything in between with a variety of instruments (Essentially, an upgraded/professional version of garageband). With all the STEM clubs already existing at Tino, Music Production is a breath of fresh air for those who want to learn a new skill, destress, or share their music tastes with others. Throughout the course of the year, with the widespread skills of our officers, we teach members how to produce all different genres of music (trap, house, edm, etc) and all different parts of a composed song (chord progressions, drum patterns, main melodies/harmonies). Beyond just teaching our members production, our club aims to build an inclusive community where anyone can relax, create, and appreciate music together.
